Footprints In The Sand

March 7th, 2010

Have we forgotten dear old Father Time
Silent, ever still, with his hourglass divine
How we’ve neglected poor mother nature
With greed and hatred and nomenclature

The fish with its scales, the Lords of Karma
Aquarian tales of the Age of Dharma
Like wildfire on a winding path
We’re running away when there’s no turning back

You search for me yet find yourself
Upon these shores we fray and welt
Unto the few who overstand
There are footprints in the sand

Uni-Diversity

February 12th, 2010

Lost in freedom with hands full of confusion
Armored against the sweet sorrow of illusion
Sick to my stomach on a voyage adrift
In the jungle of choice you’ve got to be swift

In a realm of all those too far away
Faces too small to be seen
We’re getting closer and closer each day
To an interacting scene

The galaxies in a world of open game
Diverse and yet we’re all the same
Challenging questions that make us weak
With emblems of a self that we seek

The words in a word that tears you somehow
Friends are forever but everything’s now
Time flies, but my love stays
And the music made me savor the daze

Room To Bloom

February 11th, 2010

Laughing aloud in the cosmic giggle
Still as can be, save a little wiggle
Grateful and proud to be a part of this riddle
Take love pass it on and hold hands in the middle

There’s no one alone in this sea of truth
Devout and devoid we are but living proof
Fast on a path that none could uproot
Gather around and bless our fruit

We stand tall, unglamorous
Steady, we’re all magnanimous
In a calm breeze or in random fits
We sway with the flow and roll with the hits

Stepping popping bouncing dropping
Spinning round and never stopping
Elevating in order to make room
We’re blossoming into full bloom
